Drain Spotters
Drain Spotters is a new Healthy Waterways Waterwatch Program project being run across the Western region in 2010. Check out our new Drain Spotters website.
Drain Spotter team members regularly record observations about their drains and report this information to Melbourne Water.
Drain Spotters have been learning from the EPA about how pollution is managed and how to report pollution if it occurs.
Drain Spotters regularly capture an image of the drain and submit a short report. Images can even be captured with a mobile phone. Images and reports will be stored on a Drain Spotters website.
