One of the strengths of the Waterwatch program is its ability to foster partnerships and strengthen relationships between groups interested in the protection and conservation of our waterways.

Most councils in the region currently contribute financially to the Waterwatch program and these funds are used to support the extensive range of activities conducted by Waterwatch.  The partnership between Waterwatch and local government allows councils to have an additional resource to access when educating their community about waterways issues.

Waterwatch is ideally positioned to work with your organisation on a range of activities aimed at increasing community engagement and contributing to protecting and enhancing the local environment.
