Williamstown Festival

When: Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 March
Where: Commonwealth Reserve, Nelson Place, Williamstown.  Melway 56 D9

Did you know that different types of water bugs have varying sensitivity to different types of pollution?  Come down to the Waterwatch trailer to catch water bugs and find their life cycle.

Weerama Festival

When: Sunday 14 March
Where: Werribee Racecourse, Bulban Road, Werribee.  Melway 205 E9

Visit the Waterwatch Marquee at the festival to participate in fun, free Waterwatch activities.

Melbourne Water is holding the Western Treatment Plant Open Day tours as part of the Weerama Festival.  At the Open Day you can learn about life on the wetlands and visit one of Victoria's largest working farms. Bayside Festival

Platypus Information Night

Bird Identification Training

Frog Discovery Night

When: Thursday 29 April, 7:00 - 8:00 PM
Where: Alistair Knox Park, corner Panther Place and Main Road, Eltham, Melway 21 J6

Come down to Alistair Knox Park wetland for a night of discovery with Waterwatch. Identify different frog calls, learn about the local duck species and find out how the wetland works to clean stormwater. Please wear appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear and bring a torch.

Diamond Creek Waterwatch Bike Ride

When: Sunday 2 May, 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Meeting Point: Edendale Farm, Gastons Road, Eltham Melway 22 A1

Join Waterwatch for a 12km (moderate level) bike ride along the Diamond Creek with stops along the way to test the water and learn about environmental issues affecting the creek. All ages are welcome and lunch is provided. Please bring your own bike, helmet and water bottle.
